PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - The 142-year-old Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has a new executive director.

Tina Sawtelle, the theater’s chief financial officer for the last five years, takes over July 1, succeeding Patricia Lynch, who is stepping down after 16 years in the position.

The theater is closed for now because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“I look forward to building upon all that has made The Music Hall such a vital force for bringing people together in our community,” Sawtelle said.
