CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The Executive Council has confirmed the attorney general’s chief of staff to be the next head of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission.
The council voted in favor of Dianne Martin on Wednesday.
Martin, of Deerfield, has been associate attorney general and chief of staff to Attorney General Gordon MacDonald. She’s also been the lead contracts and procurement attorney within the Civil Bureau at the state Department of Justice.
Gov. Chris Sununu nominated Martin last month.
The previous chairman of the commission, Martin Honigberg, was nominated by Sununu and confirmed by the council to serve as a superior court judge.
