MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say they’ve arrested a Manchester resident in connection with the death of a 57-year-old man in the city.
Police say 44-year-old Daniel Samaria has been arrested following the suspicious death of 57-year-old Robert Lachance, who was also from Manchester. They say they located Samaria on Saturday night and took him into custody without incident on a charge of first degree assault.
Police declined to release more information about the incident. It was unclear if Samaria was represented by an attorney. Lachance was transported to a hospital on Friday night after he was found with serious injuries stemming from a physical altercation. He later died.
