CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after he admitted to being part of a drug trafficking organization.

U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart announced the sentencing of 43-year-old Greg Coleman on Thursday.

He says Coleman has admitted to selling heroin, methamphetamine and thousands of opioid pills. During a search of his home, authorities found 182 grams of heroin as well as multiple guns.

Coleman also agreed to forfeit 65 firearms to authorities as part of his plea agreement. A previous felony conviction forbid Coleman from owning guns.

Stuart says Coleman’s arrest came after a joint federal, state and local investigative effort.
