CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire are investigating the death of a 1-year-old girl who was at a Manchester motel.
Police are calling the death suspicious. They said they responded to the Econo Lodge at about 6 p.m. Monday for a medical emergency involving the child. She was unresponsive.
She was brought to Catholic Medical Center but did not regain consciousness, and was pronounced dead.
The Manchester Police Department and Hillsborough County Attorney’s office are working on the case. An autopsy done Tuesday said the cause of death was undetermined and that “toxicology and more testing will need to be done.”
Police were still at the motel Tuesday, where they said they interviewed “numerous people” and collected evidence.
