Prices, demand high for World Series at Nationals Park

If you want to see the Washington Nationals in person when they return to Nationals Park for the World Series, get ready to open your wallet.

According to StubHub, tickets for Games 3 and 4 of the World Series are selling at a faster rate than the first two in Houston. 

As of Wednesday, the average ticket price for Friday’s Game 3 is $1,303. The cheapest ticket available was still $630. 

The prices were even more steep for Saturday’s Game 4 — which could be the series’ finale if the Nationals go on to sweep the Astros. For that game, the average price was $1,400 and the get-in price was $675.

The Nationals took a commanding 2-0 lead Wednesday with a 12-3 victory over the Houston Astros. They are just two wins away from winning it all.
