LIZEMORE, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia State Police are investigating a double murder-suicide in Clay County that began as a missing person case.

Media report that troopers investigated a report of a missing person, Alecxandria Auxier, of Indore, on Friday. Officers later discovered the bodies of Auxier and another man, identified as Michael Sumpter, of Burnsville. Police believe they had been slain around Sept. 30.

Troopers say the two were involved in a dispute with a man identified as Joshua Foster, of Lizemore. They believe Foster shot the two victims, concealed their bodies and killed himself at his home Oct. 1.

State police are continuing to investigate.
