Woman injured in attempted Billings gas station robbery

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Montana police say a man attempting to rob a southside Billings gas station fired a shot that wounded a woman inside.

The Billings Police Department says the incident occurred about 8:45 p.m. Sunday.

KULR-TV reports that the woman was taken to a hospital with injuries that were described as not life-threatening.

The suspect fled and remained at large.

No other details were immediately released, and the incident remained under investigation.
