BAR HARBOR, Maine (AP) - A Maine utility says hundreds of customers are without power in the area of Bar Harbor and Ellsworth.
Emera Maine says the outage is affecting 1,325 customers in Hancock County on Saturday morning. The utility says the outages are in Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and Trenton, and crews are working to restore it.
Emera Maine says the crews are patrolling a line in search of the cause of the outage.
Emera Maine’s owner, which is located in Nova Scotia, announced earlier in the week that it has reached an agreement to sell its interest in the power company to another Canadian firm.
