LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities are searching for a 73-year-old man who went missing during a weekend hike in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles.
Sheriff’s officials say Eugene Jo was separated from his group Saturday on a trail near Mount Waterman.
The search resumed at dawn on Monday. Teams from five counties have been combing rugged terrain in the Angeles National Forest.
The official twitter account for the Montrose search and rescue team says Jo speaks limited English.
