The Drake curse is alive and well. 

British star Anthony Joshua was knocked down four times Saturday in a seventh-round loss to new heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. Ruiz was an 11-1 underdog, though dominated the fight. 

Ruiz’s win was seen as a massive upset. Maybe it shouldn’t have been given this photo:



Drake, of course, has a reputation for “cursing” teams and athletes by giving them his support. Joshua even acknowledged he would break the curse — only to be stopped by Ruiz instead.

Drake’s beloved Toronto Raptors lead the NBA Finals over the Golden State Warriors, but perhaps Toronto fans shouldn’t get their hopes up.
