Mid-South Conference to add 3 members in 2020-21

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - The Mid-South Conference is adding Bethel University, Freed-Hardeman University and Martin Methodist College to bring the league’s membership total to 12.

All three schools will join the Mid-South Conference in the 2020-21 school year. The Mid-South Conference is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

All three new members are Tennessee-based schools. Bethel is in McKenzie, Freed-Hardeman is in Henderson and Martin Methodist is in Pulaski.

Bethel and Martin Methodist have spent the last six years in the Southern States Conference. Freed-Hardeman will join the Mid-South Conference from the American Midwest Conference.
