POPLARVILLE, Miss. (AP) - A community college in south Mississippi will soon start building two new dormitories.

WDAM-TV reports the project on the Poplarville campus of Pearl River Community College will cost about $13 million.

The dorms will be built on a practice field west of the football stadium. They should be open in the spring of 2021.

The college president, Adam Breerwood, also says new turf is being installed at the football stadium. That will cost about $600,000.
