PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Cranston-based jewelry company Alex and Ani is moving its corporate headquarters to Providence.
A spokesman for the company says the move is part of a planned expansion, and is scheduled for the end of March or April.
WJAR-TV reports plans also include three new stores on the West Coast and others in New York City and Providence.
A Cranston city spokesman said city officials have not been officially informed that the company is moving to Providence, but say they confirmed it on their own.
