Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s newly unveiled Green New Deal takes aim at fossil-fuel emissions, but her congressional website features a photo of an offshore drilling rig.

The Republican Study Committee pointed out the dichotomy Thursday, shortly after the New York Democrat launched her sweeping environmental plan aimed at achieving zero-net greenhouse-gas emissions in 10 years.

Her website “promotes off-shore drilling under Energy issues—the very thing she wants to eliminate with her ’Green New Deal’ that dropped today,” tweeted the RSC.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s office did not return immediately Thursday a request for comment.

The Green New Deal non-binding resolution introduced by Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Edward Markey, Massachusetts Democrat, calls for massive government investment in green energy to combat climate change.
