David Duke, a former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, endorsed Hawaii Democrat Tulsi Gabbard for president, according to multiple news reports Tuesday.

On an unverified Twitter account, Mr. Duke appears to have changed his top photo to describe Ms. Gabbard as “a candidate who will actually put America First rather than Israel First!”

“Tulsi Gabbard is currently the only Presidential candidate who doesn’t want to send White children off to die for Israel,” he tweeted Monday.

The Hawaii lawmaker, who is running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, denounced Mr. Duke’s backing.

“I have strongly denounced David Duke’s hateful views and his so-called ’support’ multiple times in the past, and reject his support,” she told multiple outlets.

Mr. Duke is a convicted felon and a white supremacist.

Multiple media outlets reported he endorsed President Trump during the 2016 campaign, though Mr. Duke later waffled on whether he backs Mr. Trump over the president’s support for Israel in a 2015 interview with The Daily Beast.
