PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - Plymouth State University says it’s now guaranteeing admission to students who have earned associate degrees from any accredited community college nationwide.
The new policy builds upon a change the university made earlier this year when it offered admission to any qualified student who had earned an associate degree in liberal arts from one of the state’s community colleges. Under the latest change, it will guarantee admission to qualified students who have earned such degrees in any field of study from any accredited community college.
Under the old policies, about 30 students a year came to Plymouth State after earning associate degrees, the university said.
