DOVER, Del. (AP) - A man is accused of assaulting a worker at a Delaware spa after getting a service at the business and then asking for his money back.
Kampta Sharma Jr., 25, was arrested Monday at his home in Dover, according to a news release from Delaware State Police.
Troopers responded to a robbery call Saturday at Rose Spa in Dover, Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said in the release. A female employee told police he came into the business and received a service, then asked for his money back.
Sharma forced the employee to give him cash and hit her several times before leaving, Jaffe said. The worker went to Kent General Hospital for treatment and police say she was later released.
Sharma is charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree assault. It’s unclear whether he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
