SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - A Wyoming man has entered a plea agreement in connection with deer poaching.
The Sheridan Press reports Gregg Lambdin was charged in February with 11 counts of wanton destruction of a big game animal.
Lambdin pleaded not guilty to the charges in March but changed his pleas to guilty as part of the agreement.
Officials say the deal includes nine months in jail, one year of probation and fines of $110,000 and $144,000.
Authorities say they believe Lambdin unlawfully shot 113 deer and an antelope on or near his property between July 2016 and November 2018.
Lambdin purchased a license to take one deer in November 2017 but was not authorized to shoot more.
Lambdin says he shot the deer due to damage they caused to his property.
