HARTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Authorities in Vermont say a crash has left one person dead and another critically injured.
Vermont State Police say the crash happened Thursday morning on Interstate 91 in Hartland. Authorities say a car travelling south veered off, struck the median and rolled over.
Police say one of the men in the vehicle, 29-year-old Jarell Washington of Burlington, died at the scene of the crash. The other victim, 36-year-old Saul Brown of Burlington, was rushed to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is unclear. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Vermont State Police.
