NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - Police say three men have been shot in Mississippi and that they suspect the same person had pulled the trigger although each shooting was at a different location.
Chief Walter Armstrong tells news outlets the men were shot Saturday afternoon and one was killed. One man was treated and released from a hospital after a bullet grazed him. The other also went to a hospital with a wound that wasn’t life-threatening.
Coroner James Lee says 23-year-old Damion Green apparently died from a gunshot to the chest.
Armstrong says the suspected shooter’s car was found burned off a road. The chief says he believes the shootings are tied to another from October in which several men riding in the back of a pickup truck were randomly shooting. One person was killed.
