TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Two editors have been named to lead the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal .

Elizabeth Walters has been named daily and digital editor, while Chris Kieffer has been named opinion and Sunday section editor.

Journal Inc. CEO William Bronson made the announcement Friday.



The 32-year-old Walters has served as the newspaper’s online content coordinator since July. Before that, the Columbus native worked at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and several other newspapers.

The 36-year-old Kieffer has been the newspaper’s acting editor since May. He was previously the paper’s education reporter and managing editor for multimedia and enterprise reporting.
