Eric Reid didn’t reveal much about what caused him to get into a pregame confrontation with Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins.

But the Carolina Panthers safety made his thoughts regarding Jenkins’ loud and clear.

“He’s a sellout,” Reid said after the Panthers’ 21-17 win.

Reid and Jenkins had to be separated Sunday after the two got into a brief skirmish before the game. Earlier this month, Reid had said the Players Coalition, led by Jenkins, was an NFL-funded “subversion group.”

In May, the Players Coalition announced a partnership with the league that would fund $90 million toward groups combating racial and social injustice.

Months before that, however, Reid left the coalition, along with Miami Dolphins safety Michael Thomas, after disagreeing with their strategy.

“I would say he’s a neocolonialist,” Reid said of Jenkins.

Jenkins, meanwhile, declined to address Reid’s remarks.
