PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Prosecutors in Massachusetts say a Pittsfield man shot last weekend has died, and police are now investigating the death as a homicide.
The Berkshire district attorney’s office says 30-year-old David Green was taken to the hospital at around 9 a.m. Saturday.
He died Wednesday afternoon at Berkshire Medical Center. An autopsy to determine the cause of death will be conducted at the state medical examiner.
Shirley Edgerton, Green’s aunt, tells The Berkshire Eagle was a happy, loving man who always supported his siblings in their educational and professional endeavors. He also had a young child.
No arrests have been announced.
Police confirmed they are looking into whether two other shootings in the city over the weekend had any connection to Green’s death. No injuries were reported in either one.
