RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say the pilot of a small plane was injured when it crashed in the desert about 40 miles (65 kilometers) north of Reno.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, search and rescue volunteers and firefighters responded to the crash Saturday in the Fish Springs area.
The pilot’s identity and injury information wasn’t released.
KOLO-TV reports that the crash site is between the north end of Pyramid Lake and the California-Nevada line.
