COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - Interstate 89 has reopened as crews battle a large fire at a truck center in Colchester, Vermont, that police said was causing an environmental hazard.

The fire is at J&B International Truck Center. Police tell the Burlington Free Press that several commercial vehicles and a propane delivery truck were involved in the fire.

Officials say the employees made it out of the building safely.

Vermont State Police had closed a section of the highway between Colchester and Winooski Wednesday morning and urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
