HONOLULU (AP) - A woman died after being struck by falling rocks while hiking along a Hawaii trail.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the Honolulu Fire Department responded to an emergency call Saturday afternoon at the Makaua Hidden Valley Trail in Kaaawa.

The department says the woman, a visitor believed to be in her 30s, was found unconscious with no pulse and not breathing. She was airlifted to Swanzy Beach Park, transferred to the care of Emergency Medical Services and later pronounced dead.



No other details were immediately available.
