Filmmaker Michael Moore says President Trump and entertainer Roseanne Barr will “rue the day” they met him when a secret project comes out.
The man behind “Fahrenheit 9/11” once again has his creative sights set on a Republican commander in chief. Mr. Moore made the announcement via his official website and a cryptic tweet this week.
“I know Roseanne. And I know Trump. And they are about to rue the day they knew me,” the celebrity wrote Wednesday.
A video embedded with the tweet includes a 1998 meeting between the trio on a talk show hosted by Ms. Barr.
“I’ve been working on a secret project for the last few months. Sign up for updates and to find out how you can help,” Mr. Moore’s website reads.
The announcement comes just days after ABC terminated “Roseanne” in response to the star’s now infamous “Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes” tweet about former White House advisor Valerie Jarrett.
“Guys I did something unforgiveable [sic] so do not defend me,” Mrs. Barr tweeted Wednesday. “It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but…don’t defend it please.”
