TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Authorities say a Topeka man is jailed on suspicion of premeditated first-degree murder.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that jail records show that the 27-year-old was booked Thursday afternoon. Records show he also was being held on a misdemeanor warrant. No other details were immediately released about the killing that led to the arrest.
