SEARSPORT, Maine (AP) - Police in Maine say they have found the body of a man missing since fall along the banks of Penobscot River.

Steven Reed was last seen leaving Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor on Nov. 4. Police recovered his body in Searsport on the afternoon of May 8.

State police released Reed’s name Monday. The state medical examiner identified Reed’s remains last week and notified his relatives over the weekend.
