BRIDGE CITY, La. (AP) - Authorities say a woman used her SUV to pin her boyfriend against his car, shattering his leg, in the New Orleans area.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Glen T. Boyd told NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune that doctors couldn’t detect a pulse in the 27-year-old victim’s injured right leg after the Saturday night incident. Deputies arrested 25-year-old Maghan LeGlue, of Bridge City, on charges of second-degree battery and simple criminal damage to property.
The man told deputies he had been arguing with LeGlue, with whom he has three children. The arrest report didn’t include the reason for the argument.
LeGlue is being held without bond. It’s unclear whether she has a lawyer.
The man underwent emergency surgery. His current condition is unknown.
