Body found pond at War Memorial Park in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock say a man’s body was found in a pond in a city park.

Officer Steve Moore says a teenager taking wildlife photos discovered the body Friday at War Memorial Park.

The man’s name was not released.

Moore said it couldn’t be determined if the man had trauma to the body, which was sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death.

Moore said it also isn’t clear where the body entered the water. He said the pond is fed by a creek.
