RICHMOND — Redskins cornerback Josh Holsey will be sidelined to begin training camp after suffering a foot injury, according to multiple reports.

A 2017 seventh-round pick out of Auburn, Holsey was reportedly injured in a “freak accident” after a table fell on his foot, NFL Network reported.

Holsey, 24, played 227 snaps on special teams and nine defensive snaps last season. He appeared in 12 games.

Holsey’s timetable for recovery is not yet known.
