TARRYTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - State police say two multi-vehicle accidents on a bridge in the northern New York City suburbs appear to be weather-related.

The Journal News says the crashes occurred Wednesday morning on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.

Police say one involved five cars and the other two or three. No serious injuries were reported.

Until then, the morning commute was going better than expected. Overnight snow was less than predicted, but area roads were still slick in spots.

The bridge links Westchester and Rockland counties over the Hudson River.
