EPSOM, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says a burst beaver dam flooded a section of road in Epsom.

The dam flooded a section of Route 4 on Monday. Crews were returning to the area Tuesday to do shoulder repairs.

The department said a drone confirmed the beaver dam break.

Pembroke Deputy Fire Chief Paul Gagnon said the 6-foot dam finally let go after a period of heavy rain.
