Alfred Morris has a new home.
The former Redskins running back agreed Monday to sign with the San Francisco 49ers — reuniting him with coach Kyle Shanahan.
Morris, 29, had his most productive seasons under Shanahan, rushing for 1,613 yards in 2012 and 1,275 yards in 2013. The 49ers coach was the Redskins’ offensive coordinator during those years.
Morris’ production has fallen off in recent years, but he had a small resurgence last year in Dallas. With starter Ezekiel Elliot suspended for six games, Morris ran for 430 yards — 127 of which came against Washington.
The running back finished the season with 547 rushing yards.
The 49ers added Morris with starter Jerrick McKinnon nursing a minor knee injury.
The move will become official once Morris passes his physical.
