SWANTON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont state police are investigating the death of a man who was struck by a car in Swanton.
Police say 74-year-old Raymond Barrette was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by a car on Route 78 on Sunday morning. Barrette was taken to NorthWest Medical Center, where he died.
The Vermont State Police crash reconstruction team is investigating.
