PHOENIX (AP) - The Latest on whether the founder of the classified advertising site Backpage.com will be released from jail while he faces charges of facilitation of prostitution and money laundering (all times local):

A bond hearing will resume Friday for the founder of the classified advertising site Backpage.com who is accused of knowingly publishing ads for sexual services.

Magistrate Judge Bridget Bade said during a hearing Thursday that attorneys have reached an agreement on terms of releasing Michael Lacey from jail.

But Bade says some details still have to be worked out before she decides whether to release Lacey.

Lacey has been jailed since his arrest last week on charges of facilitation of prostitution and money laundering.

Prosecutors say Lacey shouldn’t be freed unless he posts a bond and submits to electronic monitoring.

Lacey’s attorneys say their client isn’t at risk of fleeing.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A similar hearing is scheduled Thursday for Backpage.com founder James Larkin.

A hearing is scheduled Wednesday over whether a founder of the classified advertising site Backpage.com should be released from jail on charges of money laundering and facilitating prostitution.

Prosecutors say Michael Lacey should have to post bail and detail his financial holdings if he wants to be released from jail.

They say the prospect of the 69-year-old Lacey, who has earned millions from the site, spending the rest of his life in prison creates an incentive to flee from authorities.

Lacey’s lawyers say their client isn’t at risk of fleeing.

Authorities allege Backpage.com ignored warnings to stop running advertisements promoting prostitution because they brought in half a billion dollars.

Lacey has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
