EXETER, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire town is planning to ship more donations to Texas to help with flood relief efforts due to the damage wrought by Hurricane Harvey.

The Exeter Police and Fire Departments collected donations Tuesday afternoon for relief efforts. WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2j2NQsO ) essential items like clean clothing, batteries, cleaning supplies and nonperishable food were collected.

Exeter thrift store Finders Keepers is providing a truck to transport the collected donations.

The donation drive was also organized in part to honor the victims of 9/11 as the 16th anniversary of the attacks approaches.
