Florida State quarterback Deondre Francois will miss the rest of the season after suffering a left knee injury Saturday against Alabama, ESPN reported.

Francois, a sophomore, has a patellar tendon injury and needs surgery, which will happen Tuesday.

Francois had a promising freshman season, throwing for 3,350 yards, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions. 



Florida State lost 24-7 to Alabama.
