TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Authorities say a train has struck and killed a pedestrian in Topeka.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that police were called Wednesday morning after the body was found. The discovery was made in a southern part of the city, just west of the Landon Nature Trail and Betty Phillips Park.
The identity of the person who was hit wasn’t immediately released.
