The U.S. men’s national team failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1986 on Tuesday with a 2-1 loss to Trinidad and Tobago — and boy, people aren’t happy.Â
Look no further than former player and current ESPN soccer analyst Taylor Twellman.Â
Twellman went on an epic rant, yelling, “What are we doing?!” twice in disbelief.Â

Field conditions were murky, but that wasn’t a valid excuse for Twellman.Â
