Comedian Chelsea Handler was quick to blame Republicans for the south Texas church shooting Sunday that left more than 20 dead.
“What country? America. Why? Republicans,” said Ms. Handler on Twitter.
Innocent people go to church on Sunday to honor their God, and while doing so, get shot in killed. What country? America. Why? Republicans.

The liberal comedian, who hosts a talk show on Netflix, was presumably referring to Republican support for the Second Amendment and opposition to gun-control legislation.
A gunman opened fire at about noon Sunday inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, killing more than 20 people and wounding at least 10, according to initial estimates from state and county officials, which have not been confirmed by law enforcement.
The shooter was reportedly “taken down” after the massacre, but police have not yet released his name or a motive for the shooting.
Ms. Handler met with a flurry of responses both in favor and against her statement.
More like Liberals!!! Liberal Media and celebrities attack Christians and Republicans at every turn! Shame on you, Chelsea Handler!
