BENSON, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on three wildfires in southern Arizona (all times local):
6:42 p.m.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office says residents of a subdivision near Benson who were evacuated because of a small wildfire are now allowed to return home.
The small fire 15 miles southeast of Benson was one of three that started on Tuesday because of lightning in the area.
That fire was about 150 acres big but has been contained. Two smaller fires nearby continue to burn, and the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office says resources are being diverted to one of them.

Authorities are reporting three small new wildfires in southern Arizona near Benson.
One of those fires, which is burning about 15 miles southeast of Benson, has threatened 12 homes in a subdivision that have been evacuated. That fire is 150 acres.
The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management says the fire was reported on Tuesday and that air assistance is en route.
Two other smaller nearby fires are not threatening any structures and are likely caused by lighting in the area.
