BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police say a 38-year-old man has been charged in the shooting of his brother-in-law.
Local news outlets report Jason Adams was charged with attempted murder after his brother-in-law was shot following a domestic dispute Sunday afternoon.
Police say officers responded to the family’s home and found Adams’ brother-in-law with a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. Police did not name the victim, who was shot while trying to intervene in an argument between his sister and Adams. Police say they recovered a firearm at the scene and that Adams remained there until he was arrested.
WBFF-TV reports the victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
The Baltimore Sun reports Adams did not have an attorney listed in online court records Monday morning.
