BOGALUSA, La. (AP) - Louisiana police say a crash involving a car and an electric scooter has killed a woman.
Louisiana State Police say in a statement released Sunday that 57-year-old Sherry S. Byrd of Bogalusa was riding her mobility aid scooter on Sunday evening in Washington Parish. Police say Byrd was severely injured and was taken to a local hospital where she died.
The Louisiana State Police statement says Lloyd provided a voluntary breath sample, which found no alcohol was present.
