NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A man authorities said may have turned violent over a Facebook post has been indicted for allegedly fatally stabbing two children and shooting an adult to death.
A grand jury in Essex County handed up the indictment of Jeremy Arrington on Friday.
Authorities say the 27-year-old Arrington stabbed the 8-year-old and 11-year-old siblings in an apartment on Nov. 5 and also shot a 23-year-old woman.
Essex County authorities said at the time Arrington might have been angry that one of the victims had reposted a Facebook alert from police naming him as a suspect in a previous shooting and sexual assault.
He faces multiple counts including murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and criminal restraint.
It wasn’t immediately known if he had retained an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
