LATTA, S.C. (AP) - Three people have died in a wreck in northeastern South Carolina.

Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins told local media outlets the wreck happened about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on state Highway 38 near Latta.

Collins said a car crossed the center line and ran head-on into an SUV.



Both people in the SUV and the driver in the car died. No one else was in the car.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Collins said the wreck is still under investigation.
