Man killed, 2 others wounded in New Orleans shooting

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say a man was killed and two other men wounded in a shooting in Algiers.

NOLA.com ’ The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/2qnmBef ) that the shooting happened around 9 p.m. Monday, when officers found a man with gunshot wounds inside of a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say officers then found a second victim suffering from gunshot wounds. That victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.

Further investigation led police to a third victim, who had been taken to a hospital by private vehicle.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the department’s homicide detectives.
