Bicyclist struck and killed by vehicle in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle in Starkville.

Starkville police say they responded to the collision around 7 p.m. Sunday and found 54-year-old John “Jay” Burrell of Starkville unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Starkville Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/2rlBATL ) that the crash remained under investigation and an autopsy was planned.
